A Pictou County Scotians player is in a Halifax hospital after a Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League game against the Glace Bay Jr. Miners on Thanksgiving Sunday.

According to the New Glasow News, he was originally taken to Aberdeen Hospital and then transported to Halifax with severe head injuries and some body injuries. Read the original release here.

The New Glasgow Regional Police Major Crime Unit are investigating the incident and are asking anyone who has photos or video, or witnessed the events, to call them at (902)752-1941.
