A seriously injured Nova Scotia hockey player was released from hospital yesterday.
Luke Spicer of the Pictou County Scotians Junior Hockey Club was injured Sunday and taken to hospital after a blindside hit to the head. A player from the Glace Bay Miners has been suspended indefinitely pending a review from the Junior Hockey Council, and local police continue to investigate.
Spicer suffered bleeding in his brain as well as several other injuries. The full update appears on the Pictou County Scotians Junior B facebook page:
